Changing Your Password
Update the password on your Client Dashboard account from the Your Profile page.
About Your Password
When your email address is first granted access to a property, a temporary password is emailed to you along with sign-in instructions. You should change that password the first time you sign in, and you can change it again at any time from the Your Profile page.
Forgot your current password? Use the "Forgot Password" link on the sign-in page instead of following this tutorial — you'll be emailed a link to set a new one without needing the old one.
Password Requirements
New passwords need to meet the following requirements:
At least 8 characters long (12+ recommended).
Include both uppercase and lowercase letters.
Include at least one number (0–9).
Include at least one symbol such as !@#$%^&*.
Avoid the obvious. Don't reuse passwords from other sites, don't use personal information (names, birthdays, addresses), and steer clear of common patterns like Password123!.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Sign In and Open Your Profile
From the Client Dashboard, click Your Profile in the top quick-actions bar (or in the left sidebar). The Your Profile page shows your account details, property count, and quick actions.
The Your Profile page — the Password button is in the top-right corner.
Open the Password Dialog
There are two places that open the same password dialog — use whichever is easier to find:
- The Password button in the top-right corner of the Your Profile page.
- The Change Password row inside the Quick Actions card on the same page.
Fill In the Password Form
The dialog asks for three things:
- Current Password — the password you're signed in with right now.
- New Password — a password that meets the requirements above.
- Confirm New Password — retype the new password exactly.
Save the Change
Click Update Password. On success you'll see a confirmation message and the dialog will close. If anything was wrong (a mismatched confirmation, a password that doesn't meet the requirements, or an incorrect current password), the form will tell you exactly what to fix.
You stay signed in. You don't need to sign in again after a successful password change. If for any reason you are logged out, sign in with your old password and try the change once more.
After Changing Your Password
Store It Somewhere Safe
A password manager (1Password, Bitwarden, iCloud Keychain, Google Password Manager) is the easiest way to keep a strong password without having to memorise it.
Update Saved Logins
If your browser offered to save your old password, update it now so the autofill keeps working the next time you sign in.
Test on Another Device
If you use the dashboard on a phone or tablet, sign in there as well to confirm the new password works everywhere.

Troubleshooting
I forgot my current password
Use the "Forgot Password" link on the sign-in page. You'll receive an email with a link to set a new password. If that email doesn't arrive, check your spam folder and then open a support ticket if needed.
My new password isn't being accepted
Double-check the password meets the length and complexity requirements, and that the Confirm New Password field matches exactly (no extra spaces). If it still won't save, try a different password that you know meets all four requirements.
I was signed out right after changing my password
Sign in again with your old password. If that works, run through the password-change steps one more time. If the old password no longer works either, use "Forgot Password" on the sign-in page to reset it and open a support ticket so we can check the account.
